Seems like good solution would be to read a short story from a different author each day for 30 days.
The timing is perfect as I just got a box of my old books, including Great Short Stories of the World: 71 of the Finest Stories Ever Written. I started off with a little piece about prejudice: "Mr. Know-It-All" by W. Somerset Maugham.
Yesterday I read "God Sees the Truth, But Waits" by Leo Tolstoy, a sad tale about a man unjustly imprisoned.
